Is a generic the same as the brand-name drug?
In the ways that matter for treatment, yes. A generic has to contain the same active ingredient, in the same strength and form. What changes is mostly on the outside.

Why medicines from India cost less
A lower price doesn’t mean a weaker medicine. It mostly comes down to three things.
No research bill to pay back
Once a patent runs out, other companies can make the same molecule without the years of trials the inventor paid for.
Lots of competition
Several Indian companies often make the same medicine. When five or six makers sell one molecule, prices drop fast.
Price caps at home
India's National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority sets ceiling prices for many essential medicines.

Medicines made by licensed Indian manufacturers follow India's Good Manufacturing Practice rules, and many of the same factories also supply the US and Europe. The medicines we sell come from established companies such as Cipla, Abbott India and Ipca.
Why is the same medicine so much cheaper here?
Generic makers don't have to pay back the cost of inventing the drug, several companies compete on each medicine, and India caps the price of many essential medicines.
How long does delivery take?
Standard worldwide delivery takes 12–15 days. Customs checks can add 3–21 days in some countries. Every order gets a tracking number.
What happens if my parcel doesn't arrive?
